Milling Barn is a private, exclusive use venue which is ideally suited for all types of events from birthday parties, anniversaries and celebrations, leaving your guests to relax and enjoy the event with no interruptions.
Our outstanding catering options, all prepared by our onsite catering team add a wow factor to any event making your guests come back for more. Depending on your requirements, the catering could range from 5 course fine dining, through to more relaxed barbeques, pizzas, and street food. Our highly experienced bar team also build creative drink ideas to enhance the atmosphere.
Our experienced team will guide you through the event, and you can relax in the knowledge that they will take care of everything on the day.
There are 8 en-suite bedrooms which have recently been renovated and will be available for a selection of your guests.
We will be pleased to discuss your exact requirements and, if required, produce a bespoke menu for you. We can accommodate up to 144 for a seated event, and 250 for a party.

“What a venue! We got married in May 2024 after booking the venue 2 years prior. Milling Barn was the first venue we looked at, and instantly fell in love with it. Beautiful location, really convenient having everything you need on site and very accommodating of all our wishes. The food was great and all our guests commented on how amazing everything was. We were assigned Aimie, as our coordinator, a job we truly believe she was born to do. She stayed past her shift and was there bright and early the following morning to greet us for breakfast. Taking everything in her stride, she’s a huge credit to the venue and we can’t thank her enough for making sure our special day went perfectly. No ask was too big and we were even able to bring our horses for photos. We can’t thank Aimie and the staff enough for everything they did, in the lead up to and on the big day. Milling Barn is becoming a very popular venue, but at no point did we feel part of the merry go round. The attention to detail that we got, was second to none and we felt like the only wedding that mattered. Thank you for your email - we had a wonderful day and really appreciated all the support all staff at Milling Barn but from Aimee specifically! She was amazing at ensuring the day ran smoothly whilst helping us to both stay calm which led to a relaxing and amazing day spent with all our nearest and dearest.
I also wanted to ensure feedback gets back to the Kitchen staff as we have had endless compliments on how delicious all the food was. Most notably from Adam’s dad, who is vegan and coeliac and often struggles to eat out where he is catered for and the food is good. He could not stop complimenting the food, saying it was the best food he’d had in nearly 20 years since he was diagnosed! So thank you. I will get round to writing up a formal review soon too.
Lauren and AdamOur wedding was everything we wanted and more. You have been organised, flexible and most important available to speak to whoever we have needed you. During our meetings you were transparent with all of our choices and the costs that would go with these. You were able to help us adapt the choices available to meet our needs. You and your colleagues organisation and management of the day was spot on and the day flowed seamlessly despite the rain. The food/drink both at the wedding breakfast and the evening were fantastic and a lot of our guests commented on how tasty the burgers were :) Milling barn is truely a beautiful venue which I am so pleased we were able to use for our special day.
